Fast & Furious Movie Review – Vin Diesel is Back
New Movie Reviews Ratings and Previews
Fast & Furious is the fourth installment of The Fast and The mad series. It also brings back the casts from the original film reuniting them for the 1st time since 2001 when the first movie was released. It is clearly obvious that without Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto and Paul walker as Brian O’Conner then the follow ups are just not as good as the original.
Fast & mad happens somewhere between the 2nd ( 2 Fast 2 furious ) and the third ( Tokyo Drift ) movies. In this flick, Dom and Letty ( Michelle Rodriguez ) are together in the Dominican Republic running heists on transport trucks. But the police are getting too near and Dom has to smash up his new gang. Han from Tokyo Drift is part of this gang and should be heading to Japan as he and Dom part ways. Meanwhile, Dom also leaves Letty so that she may start a new life without him and the baggage that he brings.
Time passes by and Dom, living somewhere in South America, receives a telephone call from his sister, Mia ( Jordana Brewster ), telling him that Letty was murdered. Letty’s death forces Dom back to the US, still as a wanted fugitive. Due to his love for Letty, Dom vows vengeance. His search to discover the perpetrator leads him to, what else, a street race where the racers strive for a job as a driver for a known big-time drug dealer.
At the same time, his former racing friend and a latterly reinstated FBI agent, Brian O’Conner, is looking into the same drug dealer with plans of his very own to bring him to justice. O’Conner also enters the race.
And those are sufficient excuse to put these guys behind fast cars and begin entertaining the fans with racing action at breakneck speed. Director Justin Lin is glorious with car chases in urban streets ( the best parts of Tokyo Drift ). New Movie Reviews Ratings and Previews The one disadvantage in this film is that there aren’t really enough car race scenes, but the story doesn’t call for it. However, action films like these are enjoyed by spectators. It has a lot of action scenes that keep you on the fringe of your seat and blow you away, making the very unlikely look possible.
The storyline is no doubt delicate but it will keep going. You do not buy tickets to a film like Fast & furious and expect dramatic story telling. You would like action!
New Movie Reviews Ratings and Previews
Now,New Movie Reviews Ratings and Previews the trailers lead us to believe that the full gang is together again. But really, only Dom and O’Conner have the major roles. And that’s’s enough to rake in $72.5 million in the first weekend. The flick is built around fast vehicles, but little question that Vin Diesel as Dom is the big attraction. This is plain when everybody got excited as he seemed to make a cameo in Tokyo Drift.
New Movie Reviews Ratings and Previews All in all, Fast & angry is advised. It is a highly entertaining film. It’s best to just head out, don’t think about it, sit down, and enjoy a movie that may blow your mind.
