A Great Deal of Land is a Public Auction!

Another technique that I have used to market a great deal of land is a public auction! A public auction can be an excellent tool for selling a lot of land very quickly and very successfully, if it is structured correctly! I’ve sold 46 lots to different individuals in one day, using an auction! For more detail go to: www.mining-auction-gold.com.
Most people think that auctions are used in distressed situations and sometimes that’s true. However, they can be used for any sale. Auctions can be conducted so that the sales prices are “absolute”, which means that any bid is accepted. Or the seller can determine the minimum bid that he would accept and inform the auctioneer, and the auction will be stopped if bids go below that figure. With an “absolute” auction, the seller is really rolling the dice but with an established minimum bid auction, there is protection. Absolute auctions are normally advertised as such but the established minimum bid auctions are not.

Since an absolute auction is an auction where there is no minimum bid established, the property is sold at any price! This is really risky and in my opinion, is not necessary. The alternative to the absolute auction is an auction where, although it may not be advertised, a minimum bid has been established. If, in the course of the bidding, the bids get too low the auctioneer stops the bidding. This way you have a minimum price set that you will accept for each lot and no lower. I’ve conducted two large auctions and they definitely are marketing techniques. They can be excellent means of selling a lot of property in a short period of time. As I have said, I sold 46 lots in one day with an auction AND we had the closings the same day!! For more help visit to www.auction-extreme-package.com.
Which I will explain later. Should you decide to use an auction there are a couple of things you need to consider. First of all, don’t let the auction company talk you into putting all your lots up for “absolute” auction. They may try to get you to do this because they say “it will bring more people out to the auction!” Don’t trust them and don’t put all your lots up for absolute auction!

Let’s suppose that you have 33 lots ready to market. You could advertised 10 lots at “absolute auction”, and then have a minimum bid established for the remaining 23 lots. Or you could simply advertise 33 lots for sale at auction. People have a real curiosity about auctions and will come out; you just have to have it set up properly. As I mentioned, the auction company may try to get you to list all your lots at absolute auction. This way they know that everything will sell and they will make more commission.

How Does a Car Auction Work – The Various Types of the Car Auctions

Do car auctions differ that much from one another? For one thing, there are some car auctions on the market that do not specify the type of certain cars that will become available for the auction. Such cars participating in the auctions are overstocked or have belonged in the past to the govern or to some institution of a kind. For the other thing, there are auctions which do specify the types of cars offered and specify the models or the makes of the cars put on auction. The buyer is thus notified of what is offered so that he or she can participate if the person holds an interest in the auction.

If the buyer is searching for something to purchase and wants a particular model or make, then it would be advisable to go for specialized auctions where they satisfy generally the different requirements of clients. Evey buyer might want to attend a specific car auction, but some independent research needs to be made before that to locate the car auction.

Even though they might be difficult to spot out, the specialized car auctions are the most popular car auctions on the market and people visit them often because they are looking for specific models or makes. The cars available fol purchase are congregated at the venue some couple of hours before the auction actually starts. This means that the potential buyers can have one look over the cars minutes before the auctions actually take place. Therefore, the buyers, who came with something probably general in mind, can now directly choose which models they are going to target and on what they should invest their money it. The auction in itself will proceed quickly enough and the inexperienced ones might find it hard at first to really understand what is going on around them. Therefore, it is recommended to be acquainted beforehand with the procedures and the requirements so you can stand a fair chance at getting what you are targeting. Some actions might even feature in their displays bikes, boats or tractors.

The make auctions are a special kind of auction that can concentrate or selling and auctioning cars of a certain make. The cars generally come from franchises and the cars might be new while others might be a little old. Others might be preowned in the past while others might have been cleared out in order to accommodate more recent cars. These auctions are visited by dealers who need to buy the resources, thus the cars, to be capable of establishing an auction in the future. Therefore, they need to find the right cars and in some cases, these types of auctions might only be open to those dealing with cards or to those that are directly related to the make of the car. Before wanting to go to such auction, you should find out whether the auction is really open to everyone there.

The spectrum that a car auctions might deal seem could be even more trimmed down by not only the make of a car, but also by the specific models of the car. For instance, you might want to go to auctions that only deal with Ford Mustangs. The auction might gather a lot of enthusiasts of the model and people working directly with the cars as well. The enthusiasts would be made up of people who are really fans of the Ford Mustangs and know a lot about how it is constructed and some aspects of its history and in the mean time, they are interested in purchasing one or simply seeing one. If an auction manages to gather a crowd that is knowledgeable of the subject, then the auction is likely to proceed rapidly and without any interference.

Online Used Car Auctions Versus Live Used Car Auctions

Are you interested in buying a used car? If you are, have you ever thought about buying a used car from an auto auction? Buying a used car through an auto auction, which is also commonly referred to as a used car auction, is a great way to find a large selection of quality, reliable, yet affordable used cars for sale.

When it comes to buying a used car from a used car auction, you will find that you have a number of different options. Two of your most common options include attending a live used car auction or participating in an online used car auction. If this is your first time attempting to buy a used car from an auto auction, you may be unsure as to which type of used car auction you should choose. When it comes to making a decision, it is best if you first take the time to familiarize yourself with both online auto auctions and live auto auctions.

As you likely already know, online used car auctions are auto auctions that take place over the internet. These auctions, themselves, come in a number of different formats. For instance, it is possible to buy a used car from an online auction website. Over the past few years, the popularity of online auction websites has skyrocketed. That is what has led many car owners to list their used cars for sale online. The only downside to doing so is that you honestly know nothing about the car seller. It can be difficult, if not completely impossible, to tell if they even have the for sale car in their possession. Also, online auction websites allow car owners from all across the country sell cars online. While this does give you a larger selection of cars to choose from, it can make the delivery costly.

Another type of online auto auction that you should be able to find online is auto auctions that are operated by traditional auction houses or companies. Due to the popularity of the internet, a large number of auction owners are rethinking the way that they do business. Many are now starting to replace their live auctions with online auctions and many are even deciding to do both. When an auction house or company decides to have an online used car auction, they often do so right on their own webpage. What is nice about participating in this type of auction is that you should be able to find a local auction company. This would make the delivery of the vehicle in question easier and it may give you the opportunity to stop by and examine or inspect the vehicle that you would be interested in bidding on.

While online auto auctions do sound appealing, mostly because of their convenience, there is nothing like attending a real, live auto auction. In fact, it is often recommended that those who want to buy a used car from a used car auction attend a live one. Live auto auctions are nice as you are able to choose which auctions you would like to attend. This means that if you live in a specific area, like the Chicago area, you can choose to attend a local used car auction, instead of one that is located too far away. You also have the option of choosing to attend a free used car auction or one that requires the payment of an admission fee; the decision is yours to make.

Perhaps, the greatest benefit of buying a used car from a live used car auction is the fact that you are able to see the car for yourself. In fact, you can often do more than just see the car. Many used car auction houses or companies have scheduled inspection sessions. These sessions are where you are able to inspect each used car that you may be interested in buying, inside and out.

Of course, the decision as to whether you would like to buy a used car from a live used car auction or an online used car auction is yours to make, but you should know that many car owners report success when buying from a live auto auction. For starters, you may want to check out the live used car auctions hosted by North Shore Auto Auction. Should you not find what you are looking for, you can then continue to examine your other options; options that may include online used car auctions.

Find cheap used cars online through our online auto auction. That’s right, you can find cheap old cars for sale without going around town. Plus you can save hundreds of dollars on your next car!

Distinguishing the Difference Between Auctions

Learning about auctions on and offline can be fun and informative. In this article you’ll discover the differences between various types of auctions.

English auction: This is what most people think of as an auction. Participants bid openly against one another, with each bid being higher than the previous bid. The auction ends when no participant is willing to bid further, or when a pre-determined “buy-out” price is reached, at which point the highest bidder pays the price. The seller may set a ‘reserve’ price and if the auctioneer fails to raise a bid higher than this reserve the sale may not go ahead.

Dutch auction: In the traditional Dutch auction the auctioneer begins with a high asking price which is lowered until some participant is willing to accept the auctioneer’s price, or a predetermined minimum price is reached. That participant pays the last announced price. This type of auction is convenient when it is important to auction goods quickly, since a sale never requires more than one bid.

The Dutch auction is named for its best known example, the Dutch tulip auctions; in the Netherlands this type of auction is actually known as a “Chinese auction”. “Dutch auction” is also sometimes used to describe online auctions where several identical goods are sold simultaneously to an equal number of high bidders. Economists call the latter auction a multi-unit English ascending auction.

Sealed High-Bid Auction: In this type of auction all bidders simultaneously submit bids so that no bidder knows the bid of any other participant. The highest bidder pays the price they submitted.

Vickrey auction: Also known as the sealed second-price auction. This is identical to the sealed high-bid auction, except the winning bidder pays the second highest bid rather than their own.

Silent auction: This is a sealed variant often used in charity events, but involving the simultaneous sale of multiple items. Participants submit bids normally on paper, near the item. They may or may not know how many other people are bidding or what their bids are. The highest bidder pays the price they submitted.

Procurement auction: This kind of auction reverses the roles of seller and buyer. The buyer puts out an RFQ for a given commodity and providers offer progressively lower prices in hopes of getting the business. At the end of the auction, the lowest bid wins.

Digital art auction: In this indefinitely long auction, designed for unreleased works that are trivially reproducible at zero cost (recordings, software, drug formulae), bidders openly submit their maximum bids. The seller may review the bids and close with a price of their choosing at any time. The successful bidders that pay this price are those whose bid meets or exceeds it.

Open outcry auction: This type of auction can refer to any auction where the auction is conducted orally for people to hear typically used in stock exchanges and commodity exchanges, where trading occurs on a trading floor and traders may enter verbal bids and offers simultaneously. This type of auction is being replaced by electronic trading platforms.

Unique bid auction: In this type of auction users post blind bids and are given a range of prices they can place a bid in, often a capped limit. The highest, or lowest, unique bid wins. For instance an auction is given a maximum bid of 10. If the top five bids are 10, 10, 9, 8, 8 then 9 would be the winner being the highest unique bid. This is a popular online type of auction.

Buy-out auction: This auction has a predetermined buy-out price in which the bidder can end the auction by accepting the buy-out price. The buy-out price is set by the seller. The bidder can choose to bid or use the buy-out option. If no bidder chooses to utilize the buy-out option, the auction ends with the highest bidder winning the auction. You can often find this type of auction on eBay.

Be sure you understand the type of auction you are participating in before it starts. Sometimes mistakes made at an auction can smart and be costly if you don’t know what you are doing.

Home Property Auction

Prospective buyers can examine auction items before hand which can help sellers to set a minimum price below which they will not sell the property. Nowadays auction is taking place for artwork, antiques, secondhand goods, and farm houses, buildings repossessed by banks or government, and stock and commodity exchanges. There are different types of auction for each category. Jewellery auction are divided into three like 1920 jewellery auction, diamond auction and classic auction. In art there may be modern art auction, renaissance auction and alternative art auction. Likewise even house property auction are divided into commercial auctions, disused home auctions, repossessions, luxury homes auction. The oldest auction was for a bride known as Herodotus, existed in 500 B.C.,
were once in a year females of marriageable age were sold to the highest bidder. But times have changed; auction takes place through e-commerce or internet, which enables individuals to interact directly with each other electronically. Globalization and market growth is likely to further enhance this prominence in the twenty-first century.

Home auction is gaining popularity. Most real estate auction houses operate in the following way. Auction houses make a list of the upcoming live auction on their website. Prospective buyers register online to participate in the auction. Prospective buyers can have a look at the house for inspection on a particular day prior to live auction. Prospective buyers can make an offer on any home prior to the auction date. If the seller accepts, the home is excluded from the live auction. To participate in live auction, prospective buyers must bring earnest money, often a certified check that ranges from $1,000 to $5000. It is advised that buyers take a home loan upto the maximum amount they wish to bid. Buyers who fail to pay the money will lose their earnest money.

These properties are sold at rock bottom prices at property auctions so that potential buyers could get themselves a real bargain.

Luxury homes auction
